Dr Annika Jende - Chiropractor Applied Kinesiologist

Dr Annika Jende – Chiropractor
Applied Kinesiologist and Certified LifeLine Practitioner

Annika was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and studied Chiropractic in the UK, at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. She has been in Australia  since 1997; in the Manning Valley since 2005 and loves it here – this is her home because it feels like it is!

Annika is passionate about helping people realize the amazing potential they have to unleash joy in their lives. A major part of Annika’s time is spent studying and finding the best ways to relieve pain, improve function and allow people to see some light they may not have imagined was available to them. Over the years Annika has learned that to get deeper and better health outcomes, it can be really helpful to address not just the structural, but the chemical and emotional aspects of health as well, using Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology, making this a truly holistic, tailor-made approach to health care.

Dr Graham Taylor - Chiropractor

Dr Graham Taylor – Chiropractor
Applied Kinesiologist and Retained Neonatal Reflexes Practitioner

Graham is an ex-Victorian but loves the warm water and friendly atmosphere up this way. He completed Chiropractic Studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne. He has also undertaken post graduate Paediatric Studies and continues to study Chiropractic Paediatrics, as well as the Retained Neonatal Reflexes Technique (RNR).

A major accident as a boy led Graham to experience the amazing benefits of Chiropractic in healing his body and this inspired him to become a Chiropractor. He sees the accident (that at the time was the worst thing ever) as a blessing – if he hadn’t had that trauma as a boy, he may not have been led to Chiropractic and may not value so greatly the gift of mobility and wellness. Graham loves helping people so Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology are great vehicles to help achieve the best outcome for his patients.

He is also very passionate about helping families create better function through the gentle technique called Retained Neonatal Reflexes (RNR).

Lydia Irving - Nutritionist

Lydia Irving – Nutritionist

Lydia had a beautiful, wholesome upbringing on a small organic hobby farm on the Mid North Coast NSW. Her parents have forever run whole food cafes and her father worked in Public Health.

She was also ‘blessed’ with a hypersensitive immune system – that presented largely in my enlarged tonsils. She has from a very young age, always been able to feel if something is harmful to her body. This leading her to understand how what we consume can impact us negatively.

During University Lydia became fascinated in the digestive system. This was encouraged by the high prevalence of gut health issues in both her peers and patients. This is then when she really started to see how what we consume can impact us positively. Nutritional Medicine is a holistic practice, recognising that illness and disease may be a consequence of the whole body not being in balance, rather than isolated systems.

As a qualified nutritionist Lydia follows the naturopathic philosophies to health care, which is in all aspects of health: mind, body and spirit. She endeavours to treat her clients with a gut focused holistic approach to uncover and heal the root cause of any disease in the mind and body.

Kelly Horne, Naturopath, Adv Dip Naturopathy

Kelly started off pursuing a career in the medical field. During university she worked as a medical receptionist and quickly realised that what she was part of was sick care, not health care. At the same time Kelly was experiencing her own health challenge with chronic tonsillitis. After seeing a naturopath who used iridology she saw a complete turn around in her symptoms and set her sights on a new career path.

Kelly has also dealt with food intolerance, stress and a weight loss journey, so she understands feeling like your body is working against you. Kelly looks forward to helping you to understand what your body is trying to tell you so that you and your body can work together. Kelly uses iridology, physical examinations, pathology testing and in-depth case taking to get a complete picture of your health. She will recommend a blend of herbal medicine, nutrition, nutritional supplements, aromatherapy, flower essences and lifestyle changes to achieve your health goals.
